Parsons Xtreme Golf Will Open First Ever NY Store In New Rochelle

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — Parsons Xtreme Golf, better know by golf aficionados as PXG, will open its first brick-and-mortar store in New York State, and it will be in New Rochelle.

PXG stores are known for having expansive retail showrooms that, in addition to offering PXG’s latest apparel, accessories and bags, also include one-of-a-kind, high-tech and interactive features like golf club fitting bays powered by TrackMan-powered golf simulators, a dedicated putter fitting studio and a practice putting green. They dedicate valuable retail space to club-like lounges that give customers a chance enjoy the "19th hole" after a fitting or watch the golf tournaments and highlights on the big screen.

"Our stores are designed to make an impact," Renee Parsons, president and executive creative director of PXG Apparel, said earlier this year at the time of the Fairfax, VA store opening. She described the stores as "welcoming and fun, offering our customers an immersive experience with our performative and fashion forward apparel and personalized club fittings. "

Simone Development Companies announced that PXG has signed a 7,541-square-foot lease at Nardozzi Place in New Rochelle. PXG will be joining My Salon Suite and Ashley Furniture Home Store at 80 Nardozzi, with LA Fitness nearby at 70 Nardozzi. The property will be close to other retailers in the burgeoning retail area that includes Costco, Home Depot, CVS and relative new arrivals Bank of America and Land Rover/Jaguar.

"We are thrilled to welcome global brand PXG to Westchester County and their new home at 80 Nardozzi Place," Simone VP Joanna Simone said in a statement announcing the latest big league tenant. "Our property’s unparalleled location alongside its remarkable design features and plentiful parking have been key in attracting PXG and we are confident that their new location will prove to be incredibly successful for the company."

PXG, started by GoDaddy founder Bob Parsons, has built a loyal international following as a golf research and development company with a stated commitment to designing the world's best golf clubs and sports fashion apparel. Although the company just has a handful of brick-and-mortar stores, PXG reaches golfers in more than 50 countries through a unique distribution model that places a priority on a direct-to-consumer experience. It is this hands-on approach that led to the recent expansion of PXG retail spaces.

The company currently operates 16 stores in Dallas, Phoenix, Chicago, Atlanta, Seattle, Troy, MI, Edina, MN, King of Prussia, PA, Fairfax, VA, Orlando, Houston and Denver.

Around the time of the Fairfax, VA store opening earlier this year in March, Parsons said "We are on a path to doubling our storefronts by the end of the year." The company has stated that it is aiming for 40 retail stores by 2024.

In addition to the New Rochelle store opening soon, more locations are planned for Boston, Nashville, Toronto, Honolulu, Charlotte, NC, Columbus, OH, Paramus and South Florida.

No opening date has yet been set for the New Rochelle location, but the company has posted job openings for store associates, store fitting specialists, retail store managers and assistant retail store managers expected to start in the summer or fall of this year. A trademark application for "PXG NEW ROCHELLE" was filed earlier this year in February.

Simone Development’s 80 Nardozzi Place is a modern commercial property with 44,000 square feet of retail space. The property had a complete façade renovation in 2020 and offers highway visibility and on-site parking in a location right off I-95 and Main Street in New Rochelle.
