Police Investigating Claim Of Sex Abuse At Albert Leonard MS
The school district is cooperating with the police investigation.
NEW ROCHELLE, NY — A student at Albert Leonard Middle School in New Rochelle is claiming to have been sexually abused by a security guard. The New Rochelle police were notified of the reported abuse, and it is now under investigation.
New Rochelle Police Capt. Cosmo Costa said the abuse was said to have occurred in January and that the guard is no longer employed in the school, the Journal News said.
The district is cooperating with the investigation, according to interim Superintendent Magda Parvey.
