Public Lands Day will be recognized at St. Paul’s Church National Historic Site, 897 S. Columbus Av., Mt. Vernon, NY, on Friday, September 25, 2015, from 2 to 5 PM. The theme of the afternoon will be maintaining and gaining an appreciation of the trees on the historic grounds. The public will be invited to help prune selected trees, and our staff will offer walking tours with an emphasis on the history and variety of trees at St. Paul’s.
