Founded in October 2025, Rainy Day Pets began with a simple mission: to provide dependable, compassionate care for dogs in a setting that feels more like home than a traditional pet-care facility. Built from a lifelong love of animals and After years of caring for his own pets and helping neighbors with their dogs, founder Rane realized many pet owners were searching for care that felt more personal, calm, and emotionally attentive than traditional facilities.

Rane brings an entrepreneurial spirit and personal dedication to every aspect of his job. He runs the business hands-on, focusing on small-group or individualized care that emphasizes safety, genuine affection for the dogs, and transparent communication with clients through frequent photo and video updates.

What started as helping neighbors and caring for dogs within a residential building soon evolved into a boutique pet-care service centered around quality over quantity. At the heart of Rainy Day Pets is the belief that every dog deserves individualized care, calm environments, and routines tailored to their specific needs.

Over the past six months, Rainy Day Pets has worked with a wide range of breeds, ages, and temperaments — from energetic puppies and working breeds to senior dogs requiring slower-paced routines, patience, and additional emotional support. The experience has also included caring for shy dogs, highly social dogs, anxious dogs, and reactive dogs, reinforcing the company’s philosophy that every animal communicates differently and deserves personalized attention.

“Understanding a dog’s comfort level, energy, and routine is one of the most important parts of quality pet care,” the founder explained. “Because we operate in a more home-style setting, we’re able to truly get to know each dog individually instead of treating them like just another booking.”
