Rap Stars Will Don Aprons With Local Leaders For Cooking Class
The virtual healthy soul food how-to featuring recording artists, celebrity chefs and lawmakers is meant to be watched in the kitchen.

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, NY — Rappers Jadakiss and Styles P, State Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins, State Senator Shelley Mayer and Evanders Fish & Chips famed "Chef Nikko" will celebrate Black History Month in the tastiest way possible.
The theme of this year's Black History Month is "Black Health and Wellness." A cook-along demonstration showing techniques for preparing the coveted comfort food with healthy ingredients promises to be the (low-sugar) cherry on top of the February celebration.
Stewart-Cousins and Mayer are holding a "Taste of History" Zoom cooking event on February 23, at 6 p.m. The senators will be joined by two of New York’s most famed rappers, Jadakiss and Styles P, who also happen to be co-owners of Juices for Life in Yonkers. Celebrity chef Chef Nikko of Evanders Fish & Chips will also lend his expertise in the kitchen.
