Space Force Logo Designs Unveiled: Vote For Your Favorite

The Trump campaign emailed six possible designs to supporters Thursday and asked them to vote. What's your favorite design?

WASHINGTON, DC — The White House has officially announced plans to create the U.S. Space Force — to become the sixth branch of the military in 2020 — and the Trump campaign has asked supporters for input on a potential logo. The campaign emailed supporters six designs Thursday and asked them to vote on their favorite. Five of them feature shuttles of various sizes and colors while one simply reads "Space Force" over a red, starry background. The email said Trump "wants a SPACE FORCE -- a groundbreaking endeavor for the future of America and the final frontier." In a speech at the Pentagon, Vice President Mike Pence said President Donald Trump has promised to ensure America is dominant in space, which was once peaceful and uncontested but is now crowded and adversarial.

"Now the time has come to write the next great chapter in the history of our armed forces, to prepare for the next battlefield where America's best and bravest will be called to deter and defeat a new generation of threats to our people, to our nation," said Pence. "The time has come to establish the United States Space Force."

Trump endorsed Pence's announcement in a simple tweet: "Space Force all the way!"
