Severe Thunderstorm Warning Issued for Southern Westchester Saturday

A Severe Thunderstorm Warning is in effect for parts of Westchester County.

The National Weather Service issued the warning for southern Westchester County in effect until 9:15 p.m. Saturday.

Damage to roofs, siding and trees can be expected.

At 8:22 p.m. severe thunderstorms were located near Scarsdale that were moving east at 25 mph.

The weather service said to move to an interior location on the lowest floor of a building.
