Sound Shore Medical Center Starts Holiday Season

Administrators and staff kicked off holidays at New Rochelle Thanksgiving Day parade.

 

Recently more than 50 administrators and staff from Sound Shore Health System participated in the New Rochelle Thanksgiving Day parade.

President and CEO of Sound Shore Medical Center, John R. Spicer said, “Walking in the New Rochelle Thanksgiving Parade is a tradition for Sound Shore, and one that is greatly anticipated.”  He concluded, “It is a wonderful community event – the enthusiasm is contagious.”

Representatives from Sound Shore Health System- including Sound Shore Medical Center, Mount Vernon Hospital, Schaffer Extended Care Center and Hopfer School of Nursing- join the City of New Rochelle’s Thanksgiving Parade came out to show their camaraderie and their support for the New Rochelle community.

The City’s trolley float carried a number of the SSHS staff and their children while others marched behind the “Season’s Greetings” banner to the cheers of enthusiastic parade goers.
