If a contract isn't agreed to, students in New Rochelle, Yonkers, Mamaroneck and Mount Vernon may have to find another way to get to school.

YONKERS, NY — For the second time in three years, union workers at Yonkers-based First Mile Square bus company are threatening to go on strike. Union officials announced that they will strike Monday, Nov. 6 if a new contract isn’t reached.
About 600 drivers, monitors and mechanics work to bus students in Yonkers, Mount Vernon, New Rochelle and Mamaroneck, the Journal News said.
What workers are asking for includes annual raises and a guaranteed 25-hour work week, the union said.
