These Are The Highest-Paying Jobs in New York, New Analysis Says

For recent college graduates starting their careers or those just looking for a job to make a little more money, the career site Zippia recently released its list for the 100 highest-paying jobs in New York.

According to Zippia, the list was created based on a data set from the Bureau of Labor Statistics for a total of 769 job classifications in New York in order to find which jobs pay the most.

Anesthesiologists ranked number one on the list in New York with an average salary of $257,040. They were followed by orthodontists who ranked second with an average salary of $239,450 and surgeons who ranked third at $226,800.

Oral and maxillofacial surgeons and chief executives also make over $200,000, according to the list.

In total, there are 87 jobs that pay $100,000 or more.
