Latest 2016 Presidential Poll: Donald Trump, Hillary Clinton Ahead in NY Primary
The NBC News/WSJ/Marist Poll interviewed likely primary voters between April 6 and April 10.

A new poll shows New Yorkers have their preferences when it comes to the presidential primary.
The NBC News/WSJ/Marist Poll, released April 12 said that both real estate mogul and reality TV star Donald J. Trump and former senator and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton are favored to win the April 19 New York primary.
Lee M. Miringoff, director of The Marist College Institute for Public Opinion, said it looks like the current front-runners will “erase recent setbacks and add significantly to their delegate margins.”

He said the primary is unlikely to increase the chances of closing the delegate gap for the other candidates.
The Marist Poll, which conducted interviews of likely presidential primary voters between April 6 and April 10, 2016, found that Republicans chose Trump over Ohio Governor John Kasich by a wide margin: 54 percent to 21 percent.

Texas Senator Ted Cruz came in third at 18 percent.
Democratic voters gave Clinton a healthy lead over Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders—55 percent to 41 percent.
