The Westchester Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. partner with Feeding Westchester to support families in Westchester County

On March 2, 2022, the Westchester Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. donated 100 individual prepackaged bags filled with a combination of hot chocolate/tea, canned soup, or hot cereals to Feeding Westchester. We are proud to announce that with the help of our mother members and our children ranging in ages from 2 to 19, a total of 152lbs of food was donated which allowed for Feeding Westchester to provide 127 meals to residents in Westchester. The Chapter remains committed to fighting against poverty and food insecurity in Westchester County. Through our ongoing partnership with Feeding Westchester, we have been able to continue to promote our initiative of the fight against hunger and serve the people of Westchester. The Westchester Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. serves to target the National Program Thrusts of Community Service, Civic, and Health.

The Westchester County Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. charted in 1954, is a part of the Eastern Region, which includes 59 chapters in the states of Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, New York, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, and Virginia. Jack and Jill of America, Inc. is an organization founded in 1938 with the mission of stimulating the growth and development of children through educational, cultural, civic, recreational, health and social programs inspired by mothers. Through more than 250 chapters organized in seven regions across the United States, the organization consists of more than 30,000 family members which includes, mother members, fathers, and children ages 2 through 19.
