When Do You Take Out the Garbage?
Here's a good resource if you need a little help keeping the garbage, trash and recycling pick-ups straight.
The first year of living in a new place can be really challenging, especially when it comes to getting to know how your new neighborhood works. So I'm always looking for good info on things like bus routes, parking regulations and especially trash pick-up in my town.
Sometimes, as the garbage trucks pass our house and my husband and I stand baffled, trash bag in hand, we realize that we might need a little extra help keeping track of the pick-up schedule on our street. Some people got confused because of the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday and put their garbage out yesterday when the schedule this week is off by a day.
