The victim fled from the car, but was caught by Crew after a short chase, police said.

Crew sliced the woman's neck with a razor blade, causing significant and possibly permanent damage. The woman's hand was also cut when she tried to push Crew away, according to authorities.

The attack took place just a few blocks from where Crew and her ex-fiancé were still living together as the victim drove away from the house after spending the night.

Police said, when the neighbors came to help the injured woman, Crew left, but then returned a few moments later pretending to be an additional concerned neighbor.
