According to a felony complaint, prosecutors allege that in the early morning hours of Dec. 29, 2024, Mitaj forcibly subjected the victim to sexual contact and penetrative sex at a New Rochelle hotel, despite her protestations against the conduct.
"No means no. That is the beginning and end of the conversation," DA Cacace said. "As alleged by my office, this defendant completely ignored his victim's protestations and committed a violent act of rape against her. We will ensure he is swiftly prosecuted and faces accountability for his alleged conduct."
