Xbox Stolen At Gunpoint In New Rochelle: Police
Authorities said the victim met the man so he could sell him the gaming console.
NEW ROCHELLE, NY — The New Rochelle Police Department is looking for a man in connection with the theft of a gaming console at gunpoint in the city.
Police said the incident happened shortly before 9 pm. Thursday in the vicinity of 112 Seventh St.
The victim told police that the man had brandished a handgun and stole an Xbox gaming console from him, before fleeing east on Washington Avenue.

Police said the victim had met the man in order to sell him the Xbox Series X. They had arranged to meet via the Offer Up app.
The victim described the man as 6 feet, 2 inches tall, heavy set, wearing a black sweatshirt and a white surgical mask and carrying a Louis Vuitton messenger bag.

Authorities said the robbery is similar to one reported to the New Rochelle police Sunday.
