Zoning Changes Could Yield Workforce Housing in New Rochelle
The city council is looking at zoning in the neighborhood of Montefiore New Rochelle Hospital.
NEW ROCHELLE, NY - Workforce housing could be a benefit of a proposed zoning change in the Montefiore New Rochelle Hospital neighborhood.
Lohud.com said the new zoning could allow doctors and nurses to pay reduced rents and live close to the medical facility.
According to reporter Christopher J. Eberhart, the changes would give developers the ability to build taller apartment buildings and facilities related to medical practices.
