• E-bike battery, exploding oxygen tank causes of 2 Schenectady fires (news10.com) — Niskayuna Fire crews were among several departments that helped Schenectady firefighters battle two accidental house fires Sunday, one sparked by an e-bike battery and another by smoking materials near an oxygen tank. Multiple residents and firefighters were injured, several apartments were damaged, and one Campbell Avenue building will likely be demolished, with the Red Cross assisting displaced tenants.
