• Building the next chapter: North Salem's Ruth Keeler Library seeks community support for revitalization (halstonmedia.com) — Ruth Keeler Memorial Library in North Salem has reopened after major mold remediation and is launching Phase 2 of its "Build The Next Chapter" campaign, asking residents to "Buy a Square Foot" for $135 to revitalize public spaces. The library aims to raise $173,000 more for flexible furniture, quiet nooks, and upgraded audiovisual technology so it can better host programs, hybrid meetings, and virtual author talks for the community.
   

• Local libraries to expand free tech help through $500K grant (halstonmedia.com) — North Salem's Ruth Keeler Memorial Library is one of several local libraries offering free one-on-one tech help through a newly expanded Hudson Valley "Digital Navigators" program funded by a $500,000 state grant. Residents can get assistance with basic computer skills, online job applications, telehealth, government services, and online safety, plus connections to affordable internet and devices.
   

• Meet the 2026 lohud Boys Soccer Elite 11 and Best of the Rest (bluewaterhealthyliving.com) — A standout North Salem senior, midfielder Liam Keegan, has been named to lohud's 2026 Boys Soccer Elite 11 after helping the Tigers win a second straight Class C state title. His ball-control play in midfield powered North Salem's dominant postseason run, where every playoff win came by at least three goals, putting the town's program firmly on the regional soccer map.
