• Like it or not NT (audacy.com) — North Tonawanda’s City Council has approved the first citywide property reassessment since 2009, affecting all 14,600 residential and commercial parcels and potentially shifting who pays more or less in taxes. After a heated public meeting, council leaders argued the move will “level the playing field,” while critics fear higher bills and more homes for sale, especially as big-box stores may see steep tax hikes.
