• Intoxicated Man Crashes Vehicle With Boy, 5, Inside: PD (patch.com) — Police say a drunk driver from Franklin Square crashed on Dutch Broadway in North Valley Stream with a 5-year-old boy unrestrained in his BMW, triggering a three-car collision. No injuries were reported, but the driver now faces felony charges under Leandra’s Law and several related counts after his arrest and arraignment in Hempstead.
