2 Drivers Injured In Crash: Police
The crash was caused by one driver's failure to yield, police say.

PECONIC, NY — Two drivers were hospitalized Saturday after a crash on Route 48 in Peconic, police said.
According to Southold Town Police Chief Martin Flatley, the crash, which took place around noon at the intersection of Mill Lane, involved a failure to yield, with one driver making a left onto Peconic Lane and not seeing oncoming traffic.
The extent of the drivers' injuries was not immediately clear, Flatley said.
