2 Injured In Greenport Crash: Police

BREAKING: Two people injured in a crash Tuesday were rushed to Eastern Long Island Hospital for treatment, police said.

GREENPORT, NY — At least two people were hurt after a crash in Greenport Tuesday afternoon, police said.

According to Southold Town Police at the scene, the two cars collided at around 3:45 p.m., at the intersection of County Road 48 and Chapel Lane in Greenport.

Two individuals were taken by ambulance to Eastern Long Island Hospital, police said. Greenport Fire Department Rescue responded to the scene along with Southold Town Police.
