Armed Home Invasion In Greenport; 3 Wearing Masks: Cops
Three individuals in masks were part of a terrifying home invasion in Greenport early Friday, police say.
GREENPORT, NY — An armed home invasion took place in Greenport early Friday, police said.
According to Southold Town Police, detectives are investigating the home invasion, which involved three intruders in masks and took place at 4:49 a.m. on Center Street.
The scene is currently being processed by members of the Suffolk County Crime Lab and the Suffolk County ID section; police are engaged in the early stages of an active investigation, authorities said.

No one is in custody, Southold Town Police Chief Martin Flatley said; adding that the Suffolk County Crime Lab is still "processing the scene, so it is still premature to release any further information."
