Attachment Parenting Mayim Bialik's Co-Seeping
Attachment Parenting Mayim from "Blossom" Co-sleeping
While I do not agree with breastfeeding your child past a few months old, I do agree with sharing a room with your child throughout their younger years, and though some children are independent to have their own room, once you start attachement parenting it is hard to break away from it.
I have a few friends who did attachment parenting. They say attachement parenting is good for the early years and are pleased with the bonds they have with there children throughout life, they believe those bonds are fostered through attachment parenting.
I am sure there are a lot of debates on it. Anderson Mayim Bialik talks about attachment parenting and how she plans on sharing a room with her kid until he is about seven. I would have to agree with her between ages five and seven should be the limit but I know people who have went longer.
Mayim has a new book out called "Beyond the Sling" a possible reader for me now. It talks about co-sleeping, breastfeeding, and much more pertaining to attachment parenting. In my journey of writing I have decided to read more, I have about seven books coming to me with in the week.
I never really followed the views of celebrities and their causes but today it's time to play catch up. As I hope to read Mayim's book I have yet to do so, but I am sure it will be full of lots of information on raising loving kids.
