Organic Food and the GFCF Diet

Organic Foods, Glueten Free Casin Free Diet

Just got home from shopping and a lady told me she didnt believe in organic food, I suppose that is her view but I do believe in it. Out here on Long Island we have fairway market, Trader Joes and Whole Foods places to go for organic foods.

Wouldnt it be nice if we had a organic food store in Riverhead? I hear Whole Foods will be coming to Southampton for the summer. We do have some choices in regular supermarkets as well which seem to be carrying more organic food these days. I tend to get alot of Applegate Farms deli meats, veggie patch meals, and organic fruit. I have been making alot of smoothies with our blender as well.

Since my son has autism we have tried the glueten-free casin free diet for about nine months, San Diego came out with a commerical a few years back on that diet. Its a hard diet but well worth it, though it can also be an expense.

Most of the meats and chickens I have been picking up have at least 60 ml of cholerstral — way high for us and carbs over 41g in a pasta bag. We also have peapod through Stop and Shop, you can go online and order your food and the next day they will bring it to you.

Now that we have changed our way of eating going to the store takes me about an hour and a half, though I am getting more formulier with the healthier foods its still a process. I break it up sometimes I order online and other times I don't.

I prefer King Kullen but that is because I grew up near one, you always seem to go back to what your used to.
