Pet of the Week: Missy Could be Daddy's Newest Little Girl

This Father's Day Pet of the Week features a pretty canine named Missy who is lucky to have gone from poor circumstances into the arms of safety.

Before being picked up and brought to the , Missy was known to be tied on a chain outside for most of her life. But by literally breaking free from the chain, she got out of her yard and was brought to the shelter, where she was never claimed by her owners.

But even after enduring such isolation, Gabby Glantzman shelter office manager explains how Missy still has an incredibly welcoming personality.  "Missy is super sweet and really well mannered,"  Glantzman said. 

Missy is 4 years old and has lots of love to share — as she waits to meet her forever family.
