Pet of the Week: These Three Black Kitties May Actually Bring You Luck

This week's Pet of the Week highlights three cats that were rescued from an animal hoarding situation. And while their names may suggest the usual superstitious connotation towards black felines, according to Wikipedia, Celtic folklore says that Salem, Samantha, and Merlin may actually bring you luck.

When you visit the Town of Southold Animal Shelter, you may find that these three big and beautiful siblings are some of the best greeters around as they glance and speak to passersby. 

"They are very outgoing and sweet," Gabby Glantzman, shelter office manager said.

If anything, there's no doubt that these stunning cats will add plenty of joy to some lucky families.
