SMALL BUSINESS OWNERS SHOULD GET READY FOR SMALL BUSINESS SATURDAY
Small Business Owners and Shoppers should get ready for Small Business Saturday November 24!

November 24th is the third annual Small Business Saturday. This is a day that was established to help ensure that Small Businesses get their fair share of business during the holiday shopping season. The first two events were successful and this year promises to be the most significant Small Business Saturday since the program's inception.
There are a number of incentives that are designed to drive business to small business. One of the most significant benefits is the $25 statement credit that American Express is providing its Cardmembers who register their card and spend at least $25 at a locally owned small business. This offer becomes available to Cardmembers on Nov 18th at www.shopsmall.com. Limited quantities so register early on the 18th!
In addition to this incentive, American Express has delivered a number of marketing tools to businesses on ShopSmall.com. The tools include Free web advertising, free ads from Twitter, Bing and Facebook, In-Store signage and more.

I hope business owners on the North Fork take the time to visit ShopSmall.com to take advantage of these great benefits. I also hope all residents of the North Fork go out and Shop Small on November 24th and through the entire holiday season.
In my role as a marketing consultant, I was privileged to work on the launch of the first Small Business Saturday. I will hosting an information session for Small Business Owners this Monday, the 19th, at 7:30 pm at The Giving Room.
