National Poetry Month Celebration

National Poetry Month Celebration at Mattituck-Laurel Library

Thursday, April 30, 5-6:45 p.m.

Registration required. 

Drop in for light refreshments, games, giveaways, and on-the-spot typewriter poetry from 5–6 PM. Join our optional poetry circle at 6 p.m. and share an original piece or simply a poem you love! The poetry circle will begin with brief readings from Poetry Street co-hosts Chip Williford, the Suffolk County Poet Laureate, and Maggie Bloomfield, an Emmy-winning lyricist from Sesame Street.
