Boating Safety Course, Spring Session

Saturday, May 2, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.

Registration required. Fee: $50 (non-refundable).

An 8-hour US Coast-Guard Auxiliary Course for boaters to improve their boating safety skills and to meet the new NYS requirement of Brianna’s Law that requires operators of mechanically propelled vessels, including jet skis, to complete a boating safety course. This course is mandatory for NYS boaters starting in January 2025. There is a written and skills evaluation for this program for certification.
