A resident of Mattituck, photographer Jean Schweibish is a longtime observer of the natural environment. Frequently documenting finds from her walks, pareidolia comes up repeatedly. In this exhibit those faces appear on rocks and driftwood found on North Fork beaches along the Long Island Sound.
Kids of all ages are invited to help put names to these faces. View the show and jot down a few names using one of the cards provided. The image names choses (and their creators) will be revealed at a reception later in the month. (Stay tuned for the date!) The exhibit runs the entire month of June.
