American Museum of Natural History Bus Trip

Join the library for a special summer adventure to the American Museum of Natural History as part of our 2026 Summer Reading theme, “Unearth a Story.” Your one stop trip includes round-trip transportation and admission to five ticketed special exhibitions and experiences, giving you the chance to dig deeper into science, history, and discovery beyond the general museum galleries. Enjoy as many of there special experiences as you like. From towering dinosaurs to dazzling space displays, every exhibit reveals a story waiting to be uncovered. Lunch will be on your own, with several dining options. Come ready to explore, learn, and unearth a story with us! Enjoy this non-stop, front door charter service!

Thanks to a generous donation, the cost of this bus trip has been reduced from $89 to just $59. The donation covers the admission fee, including access to five special exhibits. Thank you, Ray Nofi, for your generosity and continued support!

Itinerary:

 - 8:00 am - Bus leaves King Kullen

 - 11:00 am - Admission (Check in)

 - 11:30 am - Encounters in the Milky Way (Planetarium Show Ticketed)

 - 1:00 pm - Impact: The End of the Age of Dinosaurs (4th flr/LeFrak Family Gallery Ticketed)

 - 2:30 pm - Passport to the Universe (Cancelled due to theater needing immediate renovation and repair)

 - 3:30 pm - Invisible Worlds (3rd floor of the Richard Gilder Center Ticketed) 

 - 4:15 pm - Butterfly Vivarium (Gilder Center Ticketed)) First group

 - 4:30 pm - Butterfly Vivarium (Gilder Center Ticketed) Second group

 - 5:15 pm - Bus leaves American Museum of Natural History
