Old Burying Ground

The Cutchogue-New Suffolk Historical Council and the North Fork Community Theatre will host their annual tour of the Old Cutchogue Burying Ground on Saturday, October 3, 2026, (rain date Oct. 4th)

The tour begins at a booth on the northwest corner of the Old Burial Ground at 32770 Main Road (corner of Main Road and Harbor Lane). Actors in period costumes recount the life stories of historic figures who are buried in the graveyard.

“Widow guides” dressed in Victorian mourning costumes will guide visitors through the burial ground, where the costumed actors will recount the lives of notable figures in Cutchogue’s history while standing atop their graves. The notables include a veteran of the French-Indian War, an exiled Tory, a beloved school teacher, people who were enslaved, and many more who were responsible for forming Cutchogue as we know it today. This year, in honor of America’s 250th anniversary, we will feature Revolutionary War Veterans buried at the site. The tour will include a brief history of the burial site, and Mary Kalich, a member of the board of directors of the Theatre will give a brief history of the theater and tell how it was once a church.

Tours will start at 2 pm. Tour groups of a maximum of 20 people will be scheduled in 10-minute intervals. Tickets are $25.00/pp (+$3 processing fee) and are available at www.nfct.com or at 631-298-NFCT (6328) All proceeds equally benefit the two organizations that are hosting the tour. Get your Suffolk County 250th passbook stamped by The Cutchogue New Suffolk Historical Society & Museums on site.

Join Tony as he dives into the "touch-ups" and "adjustments" of photo editing that makes "a good picture" into a work of art.
Creating a photograph doesn’t end when you press the shutter—the creative process is just beginning.
Join us for a hands-on workshop exploring how thoughtful editing can transform a good photograph into an image that reflects your personal vision. Learn how to evaluate an image, organize your photo library, confidently use Apple Photos editing tools, and develop a simple workflow for refining light, color, composition and detail.
Through guided instruction and a live, interactive editing session, you’ll see how small, intentional decisions can make a meaningful difference without making your photographs look over processed.
No previous editing experience is required, and the workshop stands on its own—you do not need to have attended Snapshots to Stunning.
ANTHONY GRAZIANO is an award-winning fine art photographer, author and educator who has been capturing the beauty of the natural world through photography for more than 30 years. Anthony’s vision flows from what-is-perceived to what-is-felt and finally, to what-is-seen; his photographic approach often involves spending extended periods of time within a location to absorb its unique energy before attempting to preserve its experience in a photograph. Anthony’s creative approach succeeds in the rare capturing of a temporal place, drawing the viewer in to “experience” the beauty of the natural world - its vibrancy, its layers and light - all joining to emotionally calm the inner spirit while stimulating the sensory mind. Anthony was selected by the Andy Warhol Foundation as its Artist in Residence and has shown at numerous galleries. He is a past board member of the East End Arts Council and the Friends of Wertheim National Wildlife Refuge.
