Construction to Begin on Habitat For Humanity Home in Orient Point
The non-profit will be building a home for longtime North Fork resident, Michael Bredemeyer.

Habitat for Humanity of Suffolk will begin construction on a new home for an Orient Point resident on Thursday, Feb. 26 at the location of the future home on Greenway East in Orient Point.
Michael Bredemeyer has lived in Orient Point his whole life. He is a graduate of Greenport High School, has been an employee at Orient State Park since he was 17 and has been a member of the Orient Fire Department for three years.
Now, Habitat for Humanity has given him a chance to put down roots in the community he grew up in.
