Don't Miss: Town Meeting on Potential Disasters
Weigh in and help shape the town's future on Tuesday.
Southold Town is still asking for the public's input on natural disasters.
To that end, a second meeting is scheduled for Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the Peconic Lane Community Center. The first meeting was held last week.
The goal is to shape the natural hazards chapter of the comprehensive plan, which addresses potential disasters in Southold, such as planning for hurricanes, flooding, erosion and sea level rise.
The draft chapter is available on the town’s website.
