
At this cooking demonstration, you will learn how to make some of the healthy foods that Thoreau appreciated, using some wild, foraged ingredients, locally farmed produce and simple, human-powered cooking tools. We will make "Thoreau's Bread" using Dutch ovens, and experiment with using a modern solar cooker. There is a $5 materials fee.
