REGISTRATION FOR INLET POND PARK SUMMER SCIENCE PROGRAM, GRADES 7-12. July 25 through July 29.

 

Summer Science Program at Inlet Pond County Park, Greenport, sponsored by the North Fork Audubon Society July 25th through July 29th,  9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

North Fork Audubon's summer science week will look at the flora and fauna of the North Fork from the point of view of biodiversity, macro and micro ecosystems and what impact humans have on the delicate balance of the sandy glacial moraine we call home.

Special guests include Emily Voytek of the U.S. Geological Survey on groundwater flow, Tom Damiani of NFAS, and Annette Oliveiri on dragonflies as indicator species.

This will be a fun week, and students are expected to  participate for the entire week and be available for a public presentation of the findings on the last day.
