GREENPORT, NY — What's better on a frosty cold day than ice skating?

The Friends of Mitchell Park are offering a free skate day at the Greenport ice rink on Front Street. The event takes place on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Kids up to age 17 skate free; free rental skates are available, as well.
