Fundraising Campaign Started on Behalf of Man Killed in Greenport Accident
Grunblatt was on his honeymoon with his new wife when the accident occurred last week.

A fundraising campaign was started on GoFundMe on behalf of Jeremiah Grunblatt, a 42-year-old Brooklyn man who was killed when he crash his SUV into a Suffolk County Transit bus in Greenport last week.
The GoFundMe page was created on Thursday by Keith Hamilton, a friend and business partner of Jeremiah’s brother, Zach.
The goal of the page was to raise $20,000 for Grunblatt’s family. Since the page was created, $15,508 has been raised by a total of 220 people.

“The outpouring of love and support for Jeremiah, Keturah and Family has been incredible,” Hamilton wrote on the page. ”It’s no surprise to me though as they are special people. Thank you.”
Grunblatt was on his honeymoon with his wife of less than one week, 39-year-old Keturah Grunblatt, when the accident occurred on Sept. 30.

Keturah, who was a passenger in the car, was treated for non-life threatening injuries, according to police.
“They were a beautiful couple,” Keturah’s mother, Catherine Stickann, told the New York Post.
