Greenport High School Lauds New Valedictorian, Salutatorian

GREENPORT, NY - It's almost time for the graduation day and at Greenport High School, senior Liam Lieblein has been named valedictorian, while Rosemary Volinksi is the new salutatorian for the Class of 2016.

Liam is a Lieutenant Junior Grade, achieving title of Operations Officer with Greenport NJROTC, a New York State scholar athlete for soccer, a member of Greenport High School's stage crew and plans on attending our SUNY Binghampton, school officials said.

Rosemary, meanwhile, is the National Honor Society president, a New York State scholar athlete for soccer and softball as well as an All League soccer player. She is also a member of Greenport's NJROTC program and plans on attending New Haven University.
