Harbor Pet To Host First Annual Thanksgiving Pet Parade
All of the proceeds from the event will be donated to the North Fork Animal Welfare League.

Harbor Pet will be hosting it’s first annual Thanksgiving Pet Parade on Saturday, Nov. 22.
Pet owners can bring their pups in their best, most creative Thanksgiving themed pet costume to win prizes and strut their stuff at the parade held in Greenport.
The parade will start at 12:30 p.m. at Harbor Pet, located on 25 Front Street in Greenport, and go along the sidewalk around the village down to the park and back to Harbor Pet.

Judges will be on hand to take into account the best turkey-day outfit, most creative, best owner and pet costume combo, most original and so on.
To enter into the contest, it is $10 per dog and 100% of the proceeds from the entrance fee will be donated to the North Fork Animal Welfare League (NFWAL).

To sign up for the costume contest, guests must arrive at 12 noon at Harbor Pet. Winners will be announced immediately following the pet parade and attendees can stay for a “Yappy Hour” and enjoy refreshments, treats by Life is Grruff, giveaways and more.
During the Yappy Hour pet owners can get their pet’s photo taken and learn about adoptable pets available at NFWAL.
