Homeless Man Banned From Local Businesses Arrested: Police
He'd been warned that if he returned to the business he'd be arrested, police say.

SOUTHOLD, NY — A homeless man who was previously warned to stay away from area Southold businesses was arrested when he returned and entered a local establishment, police said.
According to Southold Town Police, Richard Kurdt, 48, was arrested on Tuesday at 7:57 a.m. and charged with criminal trespass, a misdemeanor, when he entered the North Fork Roasting Co. on Main Road in Southold.
An employee at the North Fork Roasting Co. called police and reported that Kurdt had entered the establishment, despite having been previously told on Oct. 7 that he was no longer allowed in the business and that if he came back he would be arrested, police said.
