Alleged online posts about "cut throats and cracked skulls" prompted police to warn the man against trespassing, police say.

NORTH FORK, NY — A homeless man who allegedly made threats to Southold businesses has been warned, police said.
The man's posts, which made reference to "cut throats and cracked skulls" reportedly sparked concerns among some residents; Southold Town Police Chief Martin Flatley said the homeless man "has been thrown out of several stores in the Southold Village area.
