Homeless Pups A'Plenty Heading To Peconic Shelter
A new life-saving transport of puppies and dogs is coming to The League in Peconic Saturday. Can you help save one?
PECONIC, NY — Once again, The League — formerly known as the North Fork Animal Welfare League — will continue its mission of finding pups new homes.
On Saturday afternoon a lifesaving transport of dogs will be coming from Georgia to the Peconic location of the shelter, located at 165 Peconic Lane, including many puppies, as well as small and medium dogs.
"We are really excited to help other shelters that need the help," said Gabrielle Stroup, director of operations for The League. "Please call or just stop by."

The shelter is open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily.
