'Huge' Transport Of Homeless Pets Headed To North Fork Shelter
45 puppies and kittens and ferrets and geckos, oh, my! Can you give one of these fuzzy friends a forever home?

NORTH FORK, NY – Once again, a North Fork animal shelter is opening its heart to find homes for a passel of homeless pets from Georgia.
A "huge transport" of 45 animals is slated to arrive at The League on the North Fork Wednesday morning, NFAWL Director of Operations Gabrielle Stroup said.
Among the 45 who will be placed at the League's facilities in Peconic and Aquebogue are 33 puppies and dogs, six kittens and cats, two ferrets, three geckos, and even a snake.

"We need your help to give these animals the care they need to prepare them for adoption," Stroup said.
Donations are critical to providing the pets with the care they need. "$15 is all it takes to make a big difference. Help us get everyone ready to find their #HappyLife," a release from The League said.
