Lawmakers to Speak Out on Helicopter Noise, New Wastewater Treatment Systems Saturday

PECONIC, NY — Residents concerned about helicopter noise and preserving the North Fork environment are invited to attend a meeting organized by Southold Voice on Saturday.

The gathering will be held at the Peconic Recreation Center on Peconic Lane Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Congressman Lee Zeldin will speak about "Helicopter Noise Over the North Fork: What will change this summer?"

Next, Suffolk County Legislator Al Krupski will spotlight innovative wastewater treatment systems and what they mean for homeowners.

Southold Voice's annual general meeting is a free session, and open to the public. Complimentary coffee and donuts will be provided.
