Man Arrested On Shelter Island Had 20 License Suspensions: PD
He was arrested on Monday morning, police say.
SHELTER ISLAND, NY — A Sound Beach man was arrested on Shelter Island Monday and found to have 20 active license suspensions, police said.
According to Shelter Island police, Michael R. Danielsen, 48, was stopped at 8:42 a.m. on North Ferry Road for driving with a suspended registration. He was found to have a suspended driver's license with 20 active suspensions, police said.
Danielsen was arrested and charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation (more than three suspensions); and operating while registration or privilege is suspended or revoked, police said.

He was processed and released on an appearance ticket to appear at Shelter Island Justice Court at a later date, police said.
