Man Charged With Dumping Undersized Fish On Thanksgiving: PD

He dumped 44 undersized blackfish in Greenport and attempted to flee, police say.

GREENPORT, NY — A Flushing man was charged with dumping undersized blackfish in Greenport on Thanksgiving, police said.

According to Southold Town Police, the incident happened at 3:11 p.m. on Sandy Beach Road in Greenport West when Henglin Cui, 40, during an interview with Southold Town bay constable, fled the area and dumped 44 undersized blackfish.

Shortly after, he was apprehended in a wooded area and issued three summonses, police said.
