A man was found dead in the waters near Goose Creek in Southold on Tuesday afternoon, Southold Town Police confirmed.
The man was found by the creek at about 3:15 p.m.
He was found near where a local woman reported her boyfriend missing on Saturday, but it is still unknown if the incident is related, Southold Police Chief Martin Flatley said.

The identity of the man has not yet been confirmed.
